Pukka is an online retailer of Australia's best organic beauty brands - stocking natural and organic skin care, mineral makeup and cosmetics, natural perfumes, body and hair care, oral hygiene and baby care.
Every brand is Australian owned, focussed on sustainable and ethical business practice, against animal testing, and champions of using natural ingredients for the best skin care possible.
About the Products
Pukka only stocks products that are:
- Made primarily from safe and natural plant and/or mineral ingredients
- Australian owned
- Free from animal testing
- Free from ingredients derived through harming an animal
- Free from harsh chemical ingredients, or those derived from unsustainable sources (ie. propylene glycol, sodium laureth sulphate, mineral oil, parabens)

Why Australian Only?
There are many obvious reasons to support organic, cruelty free, or vegan products. But a lot of people wonder why Pukka chooses to stock only Australian brands. The main reason is that it reduces our carbon footprint! An important factor in sustainability is keeping things local. And while there are of course many fabulous organic overseas brands, Australia actually produces some of the world's best skin care and cosmetics.
What does 'Pukka' mean?
The word 'pukka' originates from the Hindi language, and today is used to describe something that is top quality, or genuine.
About The Founder
“Throughout my teens, I struggled with oily, congested, blemished, acne-prone skin. It was awful! I tried everything on the shelves, but with zero skin care knowledge, it was all hit and miss. Nothing really worked until I stumbled upon some products made primarily from natural ingredients. My skin improved but it wasn't until I was in my 20s that I realised I was still breaking out occasionally because I was using chemical-based makeup. After trying 100% pure mineral makeup I never looked back. Every product in my bathroom has now been switched over to a natural alternative.
As I became more educated about toxic ingredients, I became frustrated that there weren't more organic products around. I would literally stand in the supermarket aisle and stamp my foot, angrily returning yet another toxic product to the shelf. Some say that frustration is the mother of inspiration, and eventually Pukka was born.
I strive to bring you the best Australian made organic beauty products available, coupled with a strong commitment to excellent customer service, and to top it off, a Beauty Blog for the skin knowledge we all need.
