Most anti-ageing products today basically fall into one of two categories:
- Natural skin care brands that are free from potentially harmful ingredients but don't have powerful enough ingredients to effectively treat the anti-ageing concerns of most people.

Lapureté was designed to effectively treat anti-ageing skin concerns with clinically proven AND safe all-natural ingredients.
They came across research that identified that seeds of the Okuru plant (from Western Africa) contain a combination of peptides that minimise expression lines in a similar way to Botox®, but are all natural and completely safe to use.
In 2007, they began formulating the skin care range, and turned to Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) to confirm the amazing results that Okuru was delivering. Their independent, scientific clinical trials showed that the appearance of wrinkles reduced by an average of 27% after 4 weeks! But it is not only Okuru that provides anti-aging protection in the Lapurete range: peptides from Sweet Pea and Soy, proteins from Rice Bran and Yeast, extracts from the Resurrection Plant (from South Africa), and a unique marine extract providing UVA protection, all combine in the Lapurete range to fight signs of ageing, repair skin, and prevent further skin damage.
After over two years of extensive product development, the range was launched in April 2009. It is now available in Australia, South Korea and the USA.
