The Story Behind Lily loves Pearl


Samantha Molineux, founder of Lily loves Pearl:


"Growing up it wasn't unusual for me to be sitting around the kitchen table with my Gran Janet (Aka) Pearl and my Aunt Lil, who would be cooking up their own skincare products in the kitchen using natural, simple ingredients. Lily loves Pearl was started due to my own need to find products that worked with my sensitive skin. I knew that our skin loves simple, pure ingredients, and that has been the driving force behind Lily loves Pearl.


The way we run our company is how we live our lives: with integrity, simplicity and the willingness to make a difference.


What I Love:


I love organic food so much; apples taste like they used to when we were kids. The smell and consistency of organics is just so real. I love getting back to basics.


I love my family. My baby son’s purity reminds me of how precious life is, and how we don't need a lot to be our happiest. Simplicity is the key. I love walking on the beach, walking in the rain, getting lost, getting found.


I love collecting eggs each morning and picking strawberries from the garden my husband has tended to daily, which are grown with love, nurtured and blossoming before our eyes. I like smells that remind me of childhood, of the good times and those special friendships.


It’s the things that we love that give our life so much happiness and rich experience. I love the products I’ve created, and I am happy to be able to bring them to you. Perhaps the rich scents and luxurious textures of our products will become part of your story, and one day remind you of a special person, place, or time in your own life.


My Lily loves Pearl journey has been an enormous growing experience. There has been laughter, fun and many tears. I have learned to let go, to be flexible and adaptable to change. My life's aspirations are now getting back to basics and keeping life simple.


It took two years to have the range Certified Organic and to where it is now! Many things have happened inside those years, the main thing that I take away is that at the core of it all Lily loves Pearl is all about heart. Lily loves Pearl was born from love and will always come from love, a love for life and a love for our earth."
